I thought I'd take a minute to thank you for recommending The Wool overlay for my bed. I have suffered from very sore joints, especially my hips for several years. I also am very chemically sensitive. The hip soreness had gotten so bad that I was having trouble sleeping. I tried a type of memory foam pad for the bed but I found this material to be so toxic that I had to remove the pad foam my bed after only 2 hours. In fact, I had such a terrible reaction to this stuff that I literally passed out. I put the wool overlay on my bed last night & found that it was like sleeping on a cloud.
