Organic cotton mattresses are made with ticking of organic cotton from hand picked organic peruvian cotton and organic inner cotton batting from California or Texas . The organic cotton and wool add French organically grown wool . We offer the double diamond box spring with all the mattresses we sell. Royal-Flex¨ innerspring unit use the finest offset coil spring system available in all the beds with 85% more coils than is standard . Open ended, unknotted six turn coils are more flexible, which means greater sensitivity to body contours, overall body support and minimum friction. The innerspring unit is double heat tempered, a process where the coils are baked in an oven, cooled, then baked again. These mattresses will hold people even at 300 lbs weight and are meant to last. Organic cotton - vegan mattress of organic cotton is available if you object or are allergic or reactive to wool. The double diamond box springs are now quilted with wool under ticking as additional safeguard from allergens and dust mites. The vegan is available without this with a doctor's note and will decrease the general cost of the mattress set. Natural fibers of the finest organic cotton are certified and free of fire retardant and petro chemical fumes. Mattresses are well made for lasting comfort. The organic cotton and wool mattress is 8+" thick and feature double heat tempered, Royal-Flex¨ innerspring system designed in Switzerland with overall body support . Skilled craftsmen hand-layer the organic cotton padding on each side of the innerspring unit . There are no papers, glues, resins in these organic mattresses and of course no chemicals, fire retardant or other hazards.

Handcrafted mattresses are carefully constructed to offer you the best quality and most natural organic mattress available today. The covering, padding, binding tape, and insulator pads are made with 100% organic cotton, grown without pesticides or chemical fertilization to provide a healthy, restful sleeping experience. The mattress is orthopedic firm. The mattress is 8" thickness, and overall mattress height to the floor on our 8" thick box spring and 7 1/4" metal bed frame is about 23".

Royal Pedic organic cotton mattresses feature double heat tempered, Royal-Flex¨ innerspring system designed in Switzerland. The innerspring unit contains 85% more coils than is standard with most manufacturing . The coils in the mattress are open ended, unknotted, six turn coils providing more flexibility, which means greater sensitivity to body contours, overall body support and relaxation. Skilled craftsmen hand-layered organic cotton padding on each side of the innerspring unit after securing the 10 oz. fabric to the innerspring unit to prevent the cotton padding from pocketing into the coils. There are no papers, glues, resins fire retardants or chemicals in the ORGANIC ROYAL- PEDIC mattresses. The inner cotton padding is encased in organic cotton ticking, which is free of dyes, sizing chemicals, fabric softener chemicals, and fire retardant chemicals. The mattress is hand tufted the old fashioned way with European tufting straps to pre-compress the padding for orthopedic back support. No buttons to tuft our mattresses because buttons have a tendency to turn on their side creating an uncomfortable sleeping surface. Over time as the padding compresses, the string that connects the buttons is no longer as taught allowing the buttons freedom to contort on its side. Royal Pedic Organic Box Spring construction is the finest available providing 22% more coils than is standard for extra support and durability, and have 50% more coils located in the center-third of the box spring to support the torso better (40% of our body weight is located in our mid-section).
